Chip Zone offers 3 different levels of custom remap

This procedure is carried out on vehicles using the latest technology. All new vehicles are fitted with re-writable hardware in the engine control unit (ECU), by using the OBD port on the vehicle we can upload new files to the ECU giving your vehicle great all round performance and improved economy weather you drive a petrol or a diesel. With a re-map the customer gets more choice and flexibility with the type of performance they want from their vehicle.
With both types of ECU upgrade we offer (chip replacement And Remap) we can custom write the tune file uploaded to the ECU to exactly what you want from the Vehicle.

Remap performance levels

Race 1
This option focuses on FUEL ECONOMY delivering between approx 6 mpg improvement depending on vehicle and engine type.
Customers vary from Taxis, Commercial Haulage, Courier Companies to every day vehicles where the customer wants to save money on rising fuel costs.

Race 2
This option focuses on FUEL ECONOMY and POWER/TORQUE (50-50) delivering improved pulling power (TORQUE) and approx 3 mpg improvement depending on vehicle and engine type.
Customers vary from Mini buses, Coaches, Vans/light commercial to all forms of towing vehicles to improve pulling capabilities and save money on fuel.

Race 3
This option focuses solely on POWER and TORQUE, giving between 8% - 10% bhp increase in normally aspirated (non-turbo) vehicles and 30% - 45% bhp increase in turbo vehicles.
Customers are usually the die hard/track day enthusiast.
